This girls weekend get away was so fun because it was the first “trip” post-quarantine. It felt so nice to get back to what felt like normalcy (+ some social distancing and masks 🤪). Most places were open for business in Rhode Island so the timing of the trip during the reopening phases worked out really well.
We stayed in the cutest Airbnb on Broadway street and it was waking distance to shops/restaurants etc.
On Friday night after we arrived, we had drinks at The Landing and then had dinner at Diego’s. This was my first time eating inside a restaurant since quarantine and it felt so good to be out and about again.
Saturday, we walked around to get coffees and breakfast sandwiches and did a little shopping before we headed off the Newport Vineyards for the afternoon. The Vineyard was beautiful and the wine & food were so good! Highly recommend the soft pretzel…it was one of the best I’ve ever had. After the vineyard we went back to the Airbnb to freshen up, headed out for drinks, and then enjoyed dinner at Barcino.
Sunday morning we slept it and then went to brunch at Stoneacre and then headed over to the Cliff Walk! The mansions and the views at the cliff walk are stunning. I love looking at the mansions and thinking of the history of who lives/has lived there and what their life entailed. After that we wrapped up the trip and headed back home!
