Disney’s Caribbean Beach

Woot woot – another trip back home! My last trip to Disney was September 2018, so I was due for another trip. It was my brothers spring break so we decided to do a long weekend (we missed you Hawaii Ana).

Caribbean Beach for some reason is the one resort I really never visit when I lived in Orlando. Not sure why, just never really appealed to me? However, after all of the renovations, the gondola construction, and addition of the Riviera, I knew this was a resort I wanted to check out.

To my surprise, I loved it a lot more than I was expecting. There was still some construction going on so that was a bummer and took away some of the ambiance. That being said, it felt very quintessentially Disney to me. It reminded me of trips as a kid staying at a massive moderate resort and getting to explore the various themes areas and paths. The new lobby and food court area is beautiful! The pool and banana cabana area are also great. The rooms could use a little updating. They feel a little behind the times especially with a lot of the other resorts getting very modern upgrades.

Overall this trip was a great visit, we went to Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Disney Springs! I got to catch up with friends that live in the area too which was much needed!

Now that the trip is over, I’m already asking myself when I’m going to book my next trip!
